Just had my consultation with Southampton General Hospital Consultant. All approved for the radium treatment to start next thursday and then every 4 weeks for 6 month. It means travelling to Southampton each time – but am fine with that. The results were available from my recent scans and the cancer is only affecting the bones – which is actually a plus point believe it or not. If it was anywhere else they couldnt do it. So they are targetting my spine, pelvis and some in my ribs. I do have some in Lymph nodes but I have had them since the start and they have gotten smaller in size due to my treatments last year.
