Okay am back from having my results etc., It isnt the best of news, but it is what it is. I have Advanced Prostate Cancer – stage 4. Which basially means that it has spread to some lymph nodes and bone. I will be starting hormone tablets anmd then stronger hormone injections. I am having a biopsy of the prostate next week and that will tell them how aggressive it is so they can work out the chemotherapy that I will be needing going forwards. The good news is they said I have very healthy liver, kidneys and other organs so there is no reason with the treatments that I couldnt live a full normal life. They did say you may find your emotions all over the place on the hormaone therapy like becoming angry or tearful etc – i did actually make them laugh and say well thats not a problem Ive been a drama queen for years on Facebook lol. Anyway thats it for now just thought I should update everyone properly 🙂 Needless to say when Gareth is here for the weekend am going to get as drunk as I fucking like lol
